We've all seen the shares, watched the shows and heard the screams. "Trump is a sexist, misogynist, bigotedist orange bastard!" (we made a new word there).
Let's not forget the month after month of media anger around the disproved claims that Brett Kavanaugh is a rapist and serial woman abuser. Anyone who held support for Kavanaugh was automatically deemed a sexist, awful human being with great dissent towards women.
As with so many other accusations from the left, the "sexist, women degrading" claims have been proven wrong in a strong way. President Donald Trump and his Supreme Court appointee Justice Brett Kavanaugh have individually set new standards for the respect which is rightfully due to women in American politics.
Justice Kavanaugh is the FIRST Supreme Court Justice in United States history to have elected an all female staff for his time on the court.
President Trump has nominated more women to senior advisers in the White House than any other president in history. Trump has seven female top advisers, as compared to five for Obama, three for Bush, and five for Clinton.
Would an oppressive male sexist really want a woman to work for him? Seems like an easy enough question.
Ultimately, Trump and Kavanaugh are the type of people who hold values such as the likes of Martin Luther King JR. They look past physical attributes and directly at the skills and character of everybody they see. The motive behind their nomination decisions stems from their desire to pick, not just the right, but the best person for the job. As MLK famously said, "We should not judge people based on the color of their skin (or in this case gender), buy by the content of their character".
